Untitled Performance, Inkjet Print, 44"x64" (2015)
This piece is the documentation of a private performance. This was a semi-spontaneous performance, I had the basic idea but in the moment I let the piece take it’s own shape, deciding what my next action would be on the spot. After reflecting upon this piece, I found that the act of the performance itself facilitated time for internal reflection, which turned out to be a new and refreshing experience. Furthermore the fabric silhouette acted as a copy of myself and the way in which I performed with it and treated it revealed my internal state of mind.
